Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelors or Master’s Degree in CS/Engineering and Have a minimum 1 to 2 years of experience. New graduates can also apply. 

Job Description:

• Responsible for managing large size instances of Oracle databases.
• Take responsibility for Oracle database performance management and optimization.
• Take accountability for capacity and resource planning from operational perspective.
• Manage and administer Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) administration and management.
• Conduct Backups and restoration of backups.
• Manage and administer Oracle streams, Data Guard environment.
• Manage and administer Oracle ASM environment.
• Coordinate with Oracle support and vendors for early resolution of issues.
• Manage and administrate all storage platforms.
• Conduct day to day task for storage operations.
• Take responsibility for adding or revoking space all of storage platforms.
• Resolve performance issues of all storage platforms.

Essential Skills:

• Should be proficient in the following Database structures and architecture concepts: SQL/PLSQL, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, backups and recovery, SAN storage Concepts.
• Should have a background in Oracle Databases Administration.

Desirable Skills:

• Should be well versed with industry standard databases.
• Should be well versed with Linux/Unix shell scripting.
• Should have good analytical skills
• Should have the ability to transform business requirements into SQL scripts.
• Should possess good communication skills
