The British Council is looking for motivated teachers and trainers to deliver our teacher training activities across Pakistan. Our English team works with the Government of Pakistan and other organizations to help improve the language and teaching skills of school and college teachers. Its objectives are to:
• Improve the ability of teachers to teach English as a foreign/second languag
• Improve the English language and teaching skills of subject specialist school teachers of English, math and science
Essential qualifications for the post are:
• Legal entitlement to work in Pakistan
• Proficient user of English language (CEFR C2+ / an overall IELTS Band 8)
• Educated to degree level
• Qualification in English language teaching
• Five years relevant teaching experience (school or college level, with groups, using communicative methodology) that can be verified by your referees
• Good teamwork skills
A desirable criterion for the post is teacher training experience.

Final selection will be made on the basis of the applicant’s performance in the workshop and will be subject to the British Council trainer’s satisfaction
